Olatuja Gabriel-Wealth, a national transformation and youth in politics advocate, while talking to the participants of the One Nigeria Reality Project on Sunday said the youth must be responsible if there must be transformation in Nigeria. See details below.

I trust you are all anticipating and
working towards the rebirth of a better Nigeria. Let's all be committed to this course.

Let's continue to sensitize the people in our communities, both local and online, enlighten them on the essence of voting, factors to consider in electing a candidate etc.

Let's educate the people with the fact that electing the right candidate has nothing to do with ethno-religious affiliations. Electing the candidates with credibility, pedigree, passion, innovation, ideas will make the difference.

We cannot continue to follow those who have submerged the fortune of this country into the abysmal state of penury and abject impoverishment. We need a new breed of people who want to see and put Nigeria in the forefront of world's economy.

We have the resources that most first-world countries don't have, but we live as one of the poorest country because we don't have the right people in our political offices. We cannot continue like this.

2019 is another opportunity for us to make our voice heard by these political elites who are interested in personal interests rather that the common interest of the people at large.

Let's educate the people about the consequential effect of selling their votes or failure to utilize their franchise.

Olatuja Gabriel said, "Let's educate the people about peaceful conduct and monitoring of free and fair election. Most of us are interested in representing our zones, but we don't have a goal for representing. This is the mistake that our political foreleaders are making and which has harmed us than good. Let's not see this reality show as a platform to showcase ourselves without impact, rather, let's create platforms for ourselves to reach the people, especially the grassroots for the course of national transformation. If this nation must be greater, we, the youth would be responsible."

Let's all rise up from our slumbers, let's all wake up and fight for our fatherland. We all see how she (Nigeria) has been molested, we see her pains, we see her sufferings, she's heartbroken. It's your responsibility, its my responsibility to rescue and protect her (Nigeria)

Instead of complaining, let's jump up and act, instead of accepting whatever the bring on us, let's all raise our voices for freedom. We are independent from colonial masters, but independent of indigenous tyrants.

Note this, Nigeria is not what it is because of bad leaders or bad people. Nigeria is what it is because of good people who fail to take responsibility and fight the course of national greatness. Nigeria is what it is because of the good people who allow themselves to be intimidated by the bad people. Nigeria is what it is because of the good people who leave leadership positions for the aimless and visionless  folks.

My mission here is to inspire you. Which ever political party you belong, you can make the difference, always anticipate and fight for the course of a greater nation.
