Breaking: TakeitBack movement demands the release of 6 members who were arrested by policemen for “pasting posters”

The members of "Take it back movement" converge at Area F Police Station Ikeja on Monday to protest the release of their members who were arrested for “pasting posters”. 

It was reported that 6 members of the Take it back movement were arrested in Lagos for pasting the posters of Omoyele Sowore, a presidential aspirant of Africa Action Congress Party AAC.

Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters is vying for the position of president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the forth coming 2019 election.

The members seek the indulgence of other members in Lagos to join in the protest to send a strong message for Nigerian police to stop harassment and also make them know that Nigerian police is #PoliceNotPoliticians

This is to inform the Public and all members of the African Action Congress (AAC) and the TakeItBack Movement that there would be a Peaceful Protest tomorrow at the Area F Police Station to demand the release of our Comrades who were illegally harrased and detained for pasting posters. The involvement of Police Officers in Partisan Politics must be frowned at by all lovers of democracy.  #PoliceNotPoliticians.
