How To Link Your Phone Number With NIN

 The Nigerian  Communication Commission has ordered Telecommunications operators in the country two weeks to disconnect all subscribers that are not registered with National Identity Numbers. Failure to do so will lead to their line being blocked by the 31st of December 2020.

 Here are some steps to follow to Link your NIN with your phone number

 MTN User 

•  Dial *785# and follow the process. Visit https://mtnonline.com/nim/ using your computer or phone.
• Complete the NIN linking form by entering your name, email address, phone number, and NIN.
• Submit the form as soon as you are done.
• Wait for a response from the network.

Glo and 9 Moblie

For other networks simply visit the nearest service provider of your network to link your NIN.

You will go along with your Sim pack and NIN. If you do not have your SIM pack, you should be prepared to swear an affidavit.

You can call your service provider's customer care for further clarification.

Airtel Users 

To link your NIN to Airtel phone number follow the steps below:

• Dial *121# on your Airtel number.
• Press 1 for "NIN capture" and send.
• Enter your 11 digits number and send.
• Wait for a message confirming your submission. If you get an error, just wait for some time and try again.
