I'm Pleading to Canadian Government to extend their refugees program to Nigerians as Nigeria is not Safe - Olujimi Adekanle

 

Mr Olujimi Adekanle, a Canada-based Nigerian has pleaded with the Canadian authorities that they should extend their refugees program to Nigerians just the way they are doing to Afganistan presently. This is because the situation in Nigeria is just same as that of the Afganistans. 

"I have engaged the authorities here that they should extend their refugees program to Nigerian just the way there are doing to Afganistan presently because our situation in Nigeria is just as that of the Afganistans." 

Olujimi met with the Canadian foreign affairs minister in response to a communique to the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau which gave him the opportunity for an in-depth explanation of the current Nigerian situation."... immediately when the Talibans took over Afganistan the Canadian government sent planes to evacuate Afganistans that were willing to seek asylum in Canada, and my argument is that the Boko Haram could be compared to the Taliban ideology of forcing people to take to their own beliefs and doctrine which is repugnant to natural justice and violation of human rights, which the Buhari’s government is doing nothing to protect the people."

" We are working out modalities where bottle neck of obtaining visas should be softened for Nigerians willing to seek asylum here in Canada", Olujimi added. 

He also said that out of ignorance when most people hear the word ‘refugee or asylum’ they tagged such person or persons as an outcast or is a taboo that should not be heard or attached to any decent person, in the real sense people granted refugee or seeking asylum are those that felt unsecured in their home country and in Nigeria situation of today more than 50% of Nigerians are not secured due to a failed government that could not provide security for his citizens, asylum are granted to people of clean records in their home country so is not a program for criminals.

In his statement, Olujimi also said that it is a lack of knowledge that makes some people think that being a refugee or seeking asylum is a taboo or shameful, it is a chartered of the United Nations that for any one or family having threats to life should seek abode in another country for a secured life. 

"It may interest you to know that my closeness to the Parliament Hill in Ottawa Canada which is the sit of power House of Commons I got to know that 80% of the parliamentarians weren’t originally Canadians (Indians, Chinese, Pakistans, Sudanese etc) most of them which there parents came in as refugees seeking asylum including the Prime Minister whose father was also a Prime Minister which his grandfather came in as a refugee. The idea is that with time that refugee will be a Canadian as long as he or she operates in the confines of the laws of the land."

The Indians and the Chinese have exploited this program long time ago that today they control canada through legislation as they are occupying various powerful offices in the land and they have their colonies spread across the country, for instance Missisuaga and Brampton are owned and controlled by the Indians, Markham and Scarbrough are majorly the Chinese and Pakistans reasons you see when there are elections in those areas the will always win as MPP representing those areas and since is a parliamentary system of government they are the ones to be ministers.
